Moonshot AI/Kimi Watch posted an update
Moonshot AI says Kimi can now connect to Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar using OAuth access that users control.
Why it mattersThe company says users can ask Kimi to summarise Gmail threads, find files in Drive and plan their day with Calendar. That makes the assistant more useful for tasks that depend on personal information spread across several apps, rather than just another place to ask general questions. The announcement does not explain the permissions in detail, so the practical question is what access users can grant and revoke. OAuth is a useful control, but the settings deserve a look before you hand an assistant the keys to your diary and inbox.
Discuss: Would you connect an AI assistant to your email, files and calendar for the convenience, or is keeping those apps separate the better trade-off?
