Gemini Notebook now gives students access to hundreds of textbooks from providers in the US and India, including OpenStax, Open Textbook Library and S Chand Publishing, at no charge, Google says.
Why it mattersAnswers based on an added textbook include inline citations and links back to the source. Students can also use the material to make study guides, practice quizzes and flashcards. That is a useful shift from asking a chatbot and hoping it has the right chapter in mind.
