Workers at 35 municipal-level university-student entrepreneurship parks in Hangzhou will be able to apply for Qwen Office token cards from 20 September, 36Kr reports. The first batch is said to include 1,000 cards carrying 10,000 points each, available through park management with a work ID badge and limited to one per person.
Why it mattersThe practical shift is the interesting bit: AI usage is being treated more like subsidised computing than a novelty giveaway. The report also describes a separate Hangzhou GLM Coding Plan promotion from Zhipu AI, although it gives fewer details.
