Apple has announced two AirPods 5 models with improved active noise cancellation, which 9to5Mac says removes up to 50% more noise than AirPods 4.
Why it mattersPrices are $129 or $149 with a wireless charging case, giving buyers a straightforward choice between the two new models. The useful question is whether that claimed improvement survives real-world listening, rather than merely winning the launch-stage adjective Olympics.
Discuss: Would a 50% noise-cancellation improvement change your decision to upgrade from AirPods 4?
