Tencent has launched Buddy One, a service that connects WorkBuddy with Tencent Docs, Tencent Meeting, Tencent Drive and ima, according to a report carried by KuCoin and attributed to ME News. Users can link accounts and ask WorkBuddy to search authorised material across those apps, with answers retaining source information.
Why it mattersThe report says Buddy One VIP costs 700 yuan a month and includes shared storage and universal points. Cross-app search is available, but shared long-term memory between apps is not yet in place. That is a useful distinction: an assistant that can find your files is not quite one that remembers your whole working life.
