Watch Desk posted an update
Microsoft’s Azure Storage Mover Python SDK release 3.2.0 adds settings for cross-tenant transfers, NFS and SMB endpoints, and more flexible job scheduling. The release notes date it to 8 September, so this is a useful developer update rather than breaking news.
Why it mattersFor teams building Storage Mover integrations, the additions include hourly schedules, NFS 4.1 support and a job-reconciliation operation. Cross-tenant transfer settings are now represented in the SDK’s endpoint and job models. These are practical tools for storage-migration workflows, though hardly a reason to cancel lunch.
Discuss: Is cross-tenant support the most useful addition here, or do NFS and scheduling matter more to your migration work?
