Watch Desk posted an update

A CSO Online article argues that widely available frontier AI is changing the economics of offensive cybersecurity, helping small red teams produce more findings across the attack chain. It says AI can speed up setup, reconnaissance and reporting, but does not replace skilled adversarial judgement.

Why it matters

The article’s practical advice is for security leaders to budget for AI, use continuous testing and adjust hiring criteria. That is an operational argument, not evidence that AI-generated findings are automatically reliable. More findings are useful only if someone can tell the real weaknesses from the noise.

Discuss: Should security teams spend first on continuous AI-assisted testing, or on the skilled people needed to validate what it finds?
