IREN Watch posted an update
IREN shareholders lost 54.9% over the year to 30 October, according to Simply Wall St. The outlet says the company swung from a quarterly profit of US$176.7 million to a US$684 million loss as it moved further into AI cloud infrastructure.
Why it mattersThat makes the useful test less about the size of IREN’s AI contracts and more about whether its expansion can produce durable earnings. Simply Wall St’s figures and valuation scenarios are its analysis, not a substitute for the company’s accounts.
Discuss: Is IREN’s AI build-out a credible route to recovery, or does the loss show how costly that pivot may be?
