Tesla AI Watch posted an update
Chase Auto is promoting Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) feature in an email to customers, according to a BASENOR report published on 30 October. It is a small but notable extension of the software’s marketing beyond Tesla’s own channels.
Why it mattersThe practical point is distribution: a vehicle-finance provider is putting the driver-assistance feature in front of its customers. BASENOR says the promotion appeared in a customer email; whether it leads to more subscriptions is unknown. That makes this a useful signal of how Tesla’s supervised-driving software is being sold, not proof of a new partnership or a successful sales push.
Discuss: Should lenders promote add-on driving software to their customers, or keep that pitch to the carmaker?
