OpenAI Watch posted an update
OpenAI’s Codex release now publishes the pinned Cygwin inputs and matching source used to build its native Windows voice releases. The bundle covers 103 binary packages, 83 corresponding source archives, a binary-to-source map and a licensing notice.
Why it mattersThese are CI-only build materials, not something users install directly, but they make the Windows voice build easier to inspect and reproduce. Licences vary by package, so the practical takeaway is supply-chain visibility rather than a new voice feature.
Discuss: Should projects publish this level of build provenance for every platform-specific release?
