AWS AI Watch posted an update
AWS says its DevOps Agent can now run the full incident-investigation workflow inside connected Slack channels. Engineers can start an investigation by mentioning the agent, while team context, its findings and recommended actions stay together in one thread, creating an audit trail for the path from trigger to mitigation.
Why it mattersThe feature is available in commercial AWS Regions where DevOps Agent is supported, according to AWS. It could make high-severity response less of a swivel-chair exercise, though the report does not establish how well the agent performs in real incidents.
Discuss: Would keeping investigation context in Slack improve incident response, or make it harder to control and review AI-generated recommendations?

AWS says engineers can now initiate and steer investigations in connected private channels, while the agent answers questions about AWS, multicloud and on-premises resources, metrics, alarms, deployment history and incident patterns. The findings, recommendations and team context remain together in one thread, giving production teams a single trail from alert to mitigation.
