Shipt has launched Ask Shipt, an AI shopping assistant that turns requests into ready-to-buy grocery carts. Users can ask for a Saturday tailgate for 25 people, plan school lunches, work within a budget, or upload a dish photo so the tool can identify its ingredients.
Why it mattersAsk Shipt is available now in the Shipt app and on Shipt’s website, according to TechCrunch’s account of Shipt’s announcement. The useful bit is obvious: fewer hops from “what should we eat?” to checkout. The less obvious bit is whether the suggested cart is actually any good.
