Perplexity Watch posted an update
Perplexity Enterprise and API Platform has become the first cloud service offering to receive a fully CR26-compliant FedRAMP 20x Class C certification, according to 360 Advanced, the independent assessor. FedRAMP confirmed the certification on 28 October, the assessor says.
Why it mattersThe certification has no fixed expiry date, but the offering must continue to meet requirements, including an independent assessment at least once a year. That gives government and other security-conscious customers a concrete compliance milestone to weigh, rather than another vague promise of enterprise readiness.
Discuss: Does an annual independent assessment make a no-fixed-expiry cloud certification a credible basis for trust, or should government buyers demand more frequent checks?
