Path Forward Formulator is developing an AI tool to help nutrition product teams evaluate and summarise scientific evidence for ingredients and finished formulas. Founder Shane Durkee told NutraIngredients the initiative, called Path Forward Substantiator, is still in development.
Why it mattersThe idea is to speed up work that can currently leave product formulation and scientific substantiation as separate, time-consuming jobs. The company also says it is expanding its existing software beyond supplements, with early support for liquid products. That is a concrete AI application, not a finished feature customers can try today.
