ChatGPT ranked third and Perplexity fifth among websites receiving the most scraping requests in 2026, according to a Digital Journal report on research by web-data provider Decodo.
Why it mattersTikTok topped the ranking for a second year, with Google second. Decodo’s figures reflect activity across its own user base, so they are a snapshot, not a census of the web. Still, AI services are now attracting the kind of commercial attention once concentrated on search, social media and online shops. The data rush has found a new set of destinations.
