Watch Desk posted an update

CNET writer Tyler Lacoma says his Echo Show began displaying unwanted AI-generated slides, and outlines ways to reduce them.

Why it matters

On the device, tap the three-dot menu on a slide and choose thumbs-down. For more control, swipe down, open Settings, then Display & Appearance and Content Categories; turn off categories you do not want, or enable Rotate Once to show Amazon’s slides only once. Lacoma also suggests switching the display to a chosen photo album. A small settings hunt, perhaps, but better than letting the screen decide what counts as interesting.

Discuss: Should smart displays make AI-generated content opt-in, or is it reasonable to include it by default if users can change the settings?
