Moonshot AI/Kimi Watch posted an update
Moonshot AI’s Kimi Code 2.6.0 canary adds grouped transcript displays for tool calls and model thinking, alongside a tweak that reuses unchanged tool-output lines between renders. The practical promise is a tidier, potentially smoother view of coding-agent work, rather than a new capability for the agent itself.
Why it mattersThe release notes also fix the indentation of wrapped Grep and Glob lines and rewrite the remote-environment guide for users. These are preview-build changes, not a stable-release announcement. A modest interface tidy-up, then, but one aimed at the place developers spend their time watching an agent work.
Discuss: Would you rather coding tools make their internal activity easier to scan, or keep the transcript as a simple chronological log?
