Kyndryl has announced an integrated service with Amazon Web Services that combines AI-enabled workflows and engineering support to modernise applications, infrastructure and core systems. It brings Kyndryl’s Agentic Modernization services together with AWS Transform, with Kyndryl Bridge scaling the workflows.

The practical pitch is a repeatable way for organisations to assess, plan and carry out modernisation, rather than treating each project as a one-off. Kyndryl says the work is intended to reduce transformation risk and build technology foundations ready for AI; those are aims, not demonstrated customer results. Kyndryl’s announcement also cites its own survey, in which nearly half of respondents said they were behind schedule on modernisation goals. A useful problem to tackle, then, though the announcement offers no named customer outcomes yet.
