Hermes Agent has fixed a gateway bug that made saved descriptions for non-default bots appear blank in the profile roster. The project’s GitHub commit says the descriptions were still present in each bot’s profile file, but the roster returned an empty value for those sibling profiles.
Why it mattersThat roster supplies details to desktop features including profile editing, avatar prompts, role search and duplication. The fix reads each description from the profile file, so users should see it where the app uses the roster. A small repair, but less mysterious than a setting that saves perfectly and then vanishes on cue.
