Watch Desk posted an update
LangChain says Deep Agents now supports an asynchronous subagent pattern: an orchestrator can stay available to the user while background workers handle tasks in parallel. The new tools let the orchestrator start, check and update those tasks.
Why it mattersThat could help agent builders keep complex work moving without making users wait on a blocking loop. The announcement describes the architecture, not performance results, so whether it feels faster in practice remains to be shown.
Discuss: Should agent builders favour parallel background workers, or keep orchestration simpler until the benefits are demonstrated?
