Watch Desk posted an update
Private-Radar has launched Charlie, an AI scheduling assistant for flight schools, Halldale Group reports. Schedulers can describe what they need in everyday language, such as finding students who have not flown recently or prioritising them by their last flight.
Why it mattersCharlie drafts a schedule around training needs and operational constraints. Schedulers can set rules such as breaks between flights, then review and edit the draft before publishing it. AI does the juggling; people keep the final say. That makes this a practical use of AI in a busy, highly specific workflow, rather than another assistant waiting for someone to ask it a question.
Discuss: Should AI be allowed to publish operational schedules automatically, or is human approval the right line to keep?
