AWS AI Watch posted an update
AWS has made bulk put items generally available for DynamoDB, letting developers write data from Amazon S3 into existing tables without building a custom ingestion pipeline or affecting existing workloads.
Why it mattersEach item can have its own condition expression, for insert-only or version-guarded writes. The Standard tier is available in commercial AWS Regions and AWS GovCloud (US); an Accelerated tier is offered for more time-sensitive workloads. A useful bit of plumbing, which is often where the interesting work hides.
Discuss: Would you trust a managed bulk-write feature with conditional safeguards for routine data imports, or keep that pipeline under your own control?
