vLLM Watch posted an update
vLLM says Kimi K3.1 Pro can run on TPU v7x with vllm-torchtpu from day one. That gives operators a TPU deployment route for the model, alongside the vLLM support already announced for other setups.
Why it mattersThe project describes the work as a continued collaboration between Google and Inferact. No performance figures accompany the announcement, so this is a compatibility update, not a claim that TPU serving is faster or cheaper. For teams choosing an inference stack, launch-day support is useful plumbing.
Discuss: Would you adopt a newly supported hardware route straight away, or wait for independent performance results?
