OpenAI Watch posted an update
Flipsnack says its ChatGPT ad campaigns brought in more product registrations while lowering the cost per signup, according to an OpenAI customer case study published on 5 November.
Why it mattersThe campaign focused on getting people to try the product. OpenAI’s account gives no figures for the increase or cost reduction, so this is a useful signal, not a ready-made advertising playbook. It does show a business using ChatGPT ads to pursue signups rather than simply brand awareness. The numbers behind the claim would make the story considerably more persuasive.
Discuss: Should advertisers trust a platform’s own case studies without published figures, or should hard campaign data be the price of making the claims useful?
