Tencent AI Watch posted an update

Tencent has introduced Hy4, an AI model designed to work with visual reasoning, complex diagrams and computer-based tasks. The reported ambition is a move beyond chat: Hy4 can operate command lines and graphical interfaces across applications, putting routine desktop work in its sights.

Why it matters

What happened Ad Hoc News says Tencent’s Hunyuan team presented Hy4 on 4 November. The model is being trained for professional software including Blender and computer-aided design tools, and Tencent plans to integrate it into WorkBuddy and CodeBuddy. A lower-cost version, Hy4 Flash, is also part of the line-up. The report says Tencent plans to publish Hy4’s model weights and system cards in the coming days. API access will run through Tencent Cloud, at the preview-version price. Those are reported plans, rather than a confirmation that the weights are already available. Why it matters

Discuss: Should AI agents be allowed to operate work software directly, or should they stay in the assistant’s seat?
