Kookmin University plans to launch an AI+Arts Management master’s programme in spring 2027, teaching students to apply AI to performance and exhibition planning, audience development and fundraising. The programme is set to admit up to 10 students for four semesters of hybrid classes.
Why it mattersThe Korea Times says applications close on 13 November and the admissions exam is scheduled for 28 November. The curriculum includes AI applications alongside arts policy and management, with project-based learning and industry lectures. A useful attempt to connect AI training with the work of running cultural organisations, rather than leaving the arts to meet the technology at a conference buffet.
Discuss: Should arts organisations treat AI skills as core professional training, or keep them as a specialist add-on?
