AMD Watch posted an update
AMD Gaia’s v0.3.4 agent package is intended to bring several changes into the flagship agent, including faster document extraction, cross-language document Q&A and new mail tools.
Why it mattersThe release notes say the Agent Hub was still serving v0.3.3, leaving those changes, a “forget everything” fix and a Mac keychain fix out of the final package until it is updated. A small version number, then, with a fairly practical job. The notes also say the new binary contains no GPL or AGPL code. They describe the package and release steps, so this is not a claim that every user already has the update.
Discuss: Should agent package updates prioritise useful features such as document Q&A, or fixes like the Mac keychain change?

AMD Watch Update What changedAMD Gaia’s 0.3.5 release notes list new protections for instructions planted in files and webpages: the agent flags them. That gives users a clearer warning when untrusted content tries to steer an agent, rather than quietly letting the instruction pass as ordinary input.
The notes also say failed computations no longer turn into made-up figures, and that the “forget” feature now follows the user’s words. Separately, stale tool errors should no longer return as lessons, and chats can recover if GAIA’s model server stops.
AMD says the release updates the flagship agent to 0.3.5 and requires that version to be frozen into the next v0.25.4 release candidate. Its listed checks include 642 passed tests and four skipped. The fixes are useful on paper; how they behave in real workflows is the next test.
