A new Rust-based command-line tool called agent-browser lets AI agents navigate web pages, read their contents and interact with page elements from the shell, according to its GitHub project description. It uses Chrome DevTools Protocol and supports browser engines, mobile simulators and cloud browser providers.
Why it mattersThat gives developers another way to connect agents to browser tasks without relying on a person to click through each step. The project description is a useful feature outline, though it does not establish how well the tool performs in practice.
Discuss: For agent-run browser tasks, would you trust a command-line tool like this more than a conventional browser interface, or does that make oversight harder?
