Elon Musk is set to discuss Tesla and SpaceX’s plans for a joint semiconductor factory, dubbed Terafab, at an ASML employee event, Investor’s Business Daily reports.
Why it mattersThe report says his planned remarks will cover AI, robotics, space and semiconductor manufacturing. It offers little detail on the factory itself, but the proposal connects AI ambitions to the less glamorous, very consequential business of making chips. For now, this is a reported plan and a scheduled pitch, not evidence that Terafab is built or producing chips. What would make the proposal credible: a site and timetable, or a committed manufacturing partner?
