Isomorphic Labs Watch posted an update
Isomorphic Labs expects to begin its first clinical trials before the end of 2026, according to BusinessCloud, which attributes the expectation to company founder Demis Hassabis.
Why it mattersThat would mark a step from AI-designed drug candidates towards testing in people. The report also says the company is seeking $5bn in funding, but that round remains reported, not completed. Drug discovery has no shortage of ambitious promises; trials are where the work meets a rather less forgiving reality.
Discuss: What evidence should matter most when judging AI-designed medicines: progress into clinical trials, or results showing they work?
