At Business Review’s Foreign Investors Summit in Romania, technology and business leaders argued that AI’s next test is whether it improves real processes, not how many tools a company can name.
Why it mattersWonderful’s Yannis Jacob-Draghic said its AI Gateway selects between models according to task complexity and cost. Other panellists stressed organisational change and trust: an AI recommendation and an AI authorised to act need different levels of oversight. The advice is useful, if less glamorous than another model launch: start with a business problem, then decide what the technology should be allowed to do.
Discuss: How much authority should companies give AI systems once they move from recommendations to taking action?
