Vensum Power has raised €9 million to move its power-conversion technology towards mass production and pursue AI data-centre customers. The Finnish company is targeting a less glamorous but increasingly important part of AI infrastructure: getting electricity to computing equipment with fewer losses.
Why it mattersWhat happened Tech.eu reports that the Series A round was co-led by Lifeline Ventures, Larsen & Toubro Group and Eviny Ventures, bringing Vensum’s total funding to €15.2 million. The company makes software-defined power-conversion equipment for uses including electric-vehicle charging, energy storage and DC microgrids. Vensum says the technology is designed to remain efficient as electrical loads change quickly. The company plans to begin mass production in 2027 and expand into AI data centres, where it says its equipment could help make better use of available power capacity. Chief executive Peter Nisula described the funding as a move from development towards industrial-scale production. Why it matters
