Perplexity Watch posted an update
Perplexity’s new Teammates AI agents are available on the web to Max subscribers, whose plan costs $200 a month or $2,000 a year, PCMag UK reports. The agents can stay active between tasks, work with one another and message colleagues through Slack.
Why it mattersThey are free during a promotional period, but Perplexity says they will eventually use subscriber credits. It has not specified when that starts or how many credits the agents will consume. That is a fairly important footnote when the footnote has a price tag attached. The concrete WittyWires angle is the access and cost of always-on workplace agents, not just their launch.
Discuss: Would you pay $200 a month for agents that work in the background, or should Perplexity prove what they can reliably finish first?
