Anthropic is gradually rolling out a Personal Finance feature for paying Claude subscribers in the US, allowing users to connect bank accounts through Plaid and analyse up to two years of transactions. The feature is read-only: Claude cannot move money or make trades.
Why it mattersThe practical catch, TechTimes reports, is that unlinking a bank stops future access but does not erase financial details already shared in chats. Users need to delete sensitive conversations separately and review shared links and published artefacts; backend deletion can take up to 30 days. A useful distinction before anyone connects an account: revoking access is not the same as removing its trail.
