A new comparison of Cursor and Devin Desktop says both now offer more than code completion, with cloud agents and code-review tools broadening the contest. Its most useful caveat: there is no neutral, same-task benchmark establishing a winner.

Shattered.io recommends comparing the tools on your own repository, scoring whether the result is mergeable, how much correction it needs and how many credits it burns. Sensible advice, if less thrilling than a leaderboard crowned by vibes. The comparison also says the former Windsurf editor is now called Devin Desktop. Treat its vendor-sourced performance claims as claims, not a head-to-head verdict.
