Klaviyo says it has redesigned its analytics-agent harness, replacing unstructured context files with cascading disclosure and adding deterministic guardrails.
Why it mattersThe company says the system uses PreToolUse hooks, routing rules and semantic layers to keep agents operationally reliable. Its reasoning is refreshingly practical: model instructions are suggestions, so reliable behaviour needs more than a well-worded prompt. That is a useful design signal for teams building agents, though Klaviyo’s account does not provide performance results.
