NVIDIA Watch posted an update
Nvidia’s graphics cards are selling far above their launch prices, while AMD cards have outsold GeForce on Amazon’s US store for the first time, BigGo Finance reports. It says Nvidia is prioritising data-centre accelerators for AI workloads, leaving consumer graphics a smaller part of its output.
Why it mattersBigGo cites TechEpiphany estimates for Amazon unit sales, not audited figures across the wider market. Its reported prices are retailer listings, not a measure of what every buyer pays. Still, the account points to a concrete trade-off: demand for AI computing may be tightening supply for gaming PCs too.
Discuss: Is this a temporary supply squeeze, or are AI data centres changing what graphics-card buyers can expect to pay?
