Unsloth Watch posted an update
Unsloth’s Desktop page describes a browser-use feature that lets a local model follow links and fill in forms in a browser beside its chat. The page also offers private web search and Deep Research with cited reports, though those tools were already covered in WittyWires’ earlier Unsloth story.
Why it mattersThe practical addition is browser interaction, not just finding pages: the model can act on them. Unsloth’s page gives no further detail here about which sites or workflows are supported, so this is a useful new capability to note, not a promise that every online chore is now automated.
Discuss: Would you let a local model fill in web forms for you, or is that a job where you want to keep every click under your own hand?
