Nan Ya Plastics says October revenue reached NT$34.9 billion, up 64.6% year on year, with electronic-materials sales rising 104.7%. The Taiwan News report attributes the growth to demand linked to AI.
Why it mattersElectronic materials made up 61.5% of Nan Ya’s sales for the month, and the company says production lines for these products are running near full capacity. Its materials go into computing equipment, including AI servers. It’s a useful glimpse of the supply chain behind the AI build-out: the boom is showing up in materials, not just chips and data centres.
Discuss: Are these monthly supplier figures a convincing sign of lasting AI demand, or just one bright spot?
