CoreWeave Watch posted an update
CoreWeave’s 2032 bond yield has climbed above 16%, a sharp sign of investor concern about the borrowing behind AI data centres. The bond carries a 9.625% coupon, but its market yield has risen as its price falls, CNBC reports.
Why it mattersThe same report says default-protection costs have also risen for other AI-linked companies, though the increases from low starting points do not mean Nvidia or Broadcom face the same credit risk as CoreWeave. This is a warning light, not proof the AI build-out is running out of money: CNBC notes that AI-related bond deals are still being struck.
Discuss: How much should rising borrowing costs slow the race to build AI capacity?
