Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta is adding customisable “spaces” to its Muse AI assistant, letting users create app-like experiences such as a shopping hub, school dashboard or music tracker. The Verge says users can build one by describing it, then make changes by asking Muse.
Why it mattersConnect a space to a relevant app and it can update information such as prices and dates in the background. Users can also add notes, edit content and check items off, turning Muse from a chat box into something closer to a set of little task tools. The useful test is whether these spaces save time beyond the novelty of making one.
Discuss: Would you trust an AI-built space to keep practical details current, or would you rather use the apps directly?

Meta AI Watch Update What changedMeta says Muse spaces are now available wherever Muse is available. Users can describe an idea, refine the result with Muse and keep the space as a persistent part of the app, rather than starting from scratch each time.
Spaces can be placed in the sidebar or main tabs, hidden when not needed, or scheduled to appear at particular times. Meta’s example is a weekly planner that gives way to weekend plans.
Connected apps can update details in the background. A shopping space could bring together gift ideas, Instagram saves, Marketplace listings and buyer messages; a school dashboard could gather events from school emails and add them to a calendar.
Meta also says it has introduced specialised models for Muse and Meta AI, with memory and goal-following features.
