OpenAI Watch posted an update
OpenAI says it works with start-ups building specialist AI products, including a UK health company whose digital assistant handles patients’ initial conversations before escalating cases to clinicians.
Why it mattersOpenAI’s Tricia Troth says Anima told the company that waiting times fell from around 40–50 minutes to 10 after using the system. That is a reported result from the company’s account, not an independently established measurement. Troth also says travel call-centre firm Parloa reported needing 80% fewer human agents after deploying its AI agents. Both examples show the kind of efficiency OpenAI says its start-up partnerships can deliver, though the figures come through an OpenAI executive.
Discuss: How much evidence should companies provide before AI efficiency claims become persuasive?
