Keychron’s F4 HE 8K Vibe Coding Keypad puts four programmable actions on a separate, compact keypad for people working with AI coding assistants. Yanko Design says it comes with Codex and Claude presets through Keychron’s browser-based Launcher, which is still in beta ahead of a planned 9 November release.
Why it mattersThe keys can be set up for prompting, dictation, approval and rejection. There’s no microphone built in, so voice input still needs another device, and the keypad stores its assignments, not the applications those shortcuts control. At $34.99, it’s a small experiment in making repeated AI workflows easier to reach. Whether it earns desk space may depend on how often those four actions actually come up.
Discuss: Would dedicated physical keys make AI-assisted coding smoother, or would you rather keep those actions in software?
