AWS Agent Registry is now available in the GovCloud (US-West) Region, giving public-sector organisations a central catalogue for AI agents, tools and related resources. AWS says teams can control what becomes discoverable through an approval workflow, rather than letting every tool wander into the directory uninvited.
Why it mattersThe registry supports searchable listings, a native MCP endpoint and CloudTrail audit logs. AWS says organisations can publish MCP servers, tools, agents, agent skills and custom resources for people and AI agents to find.
