SovAI says it has joined NVIDIA Inception while developing two sites for AI data-centre campuses, each already connected to the grid. The company says the first phases are planned at 20 to 100 megawatts.
Why it mattersThe sites are designed around NVIDIA’s DSX reference architecture, and SovAI says its Scotty software will manage campus power and operations. Its first release is due to be demonstrated at SC26; planned design and fleet-management features are for 2027. That is a concrete AI-infrastructure project, though the campuses and software plans remain in development. The useful test will be whether the promised operating system can make a complex build-out work, not just give it a tidy name.
Discuss: Should AI infrastructure companies prioritise building their own integrated power-and-compute campuses, or rely on established data-centre operators?
