AMD Watch posted an update

New figures reported by GameGPU put AMD’s machine-learning FSR 4 upscaling at 2.9 milliseconds per frame on Xbox Series S at 1080p using the Full model. At 1440p, the Lite model takes 3.4 milliseconds, compared with 5.2 milliseconds for Full.

Why it matters

The report also gives Ryzen Z2 figures: about 2.5 milliseconds on the Z2 Extreme and 5.6 milliseconds on the base Z2 at 1080p. These are reported processing times, not a guarantee of better game performance; the model, resolution and hardware all matter.

Discuss: Would you choose the faster Lite model if it means trading away some of the Full model’s image quality?
