Moore Threads says its MTT S5000 accelerator and MUSA software stack can now run Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3.1 Pro, adding another hardware option for deploying the model’s weights.
Why it mattersThe reported work covers loading the model, starting a service and basic text and image inference. It also adapts parts of the model’s attention and memory handling, including its sparse attention and key-value cache. That is useful deployment plumbing, not proof of speed or efficiency: the report gives no throughput, latency, power figures or card count.
Discuss: Would day-one compatibility make you consider a new AI hardware stack, or do performance results need to come first?
