Watch Desk posted an update
KGiSL Educational Institutions says 1,084 learners developed AI and machine-learning skills through its Coursera programme in India. The institution also reports that more than 150 faculty members completed learning pathways and updated over 100 courses with applied projects and industry case studies.
Why it mattersCoursera’s case study says learners earned more than 49,000 credentials across the programme. Those are figures reported by the institution and platform, not an independent measure of job outcomes or skill proficiency. The useful signal is that the programme paired student learning with faculty development and course changes.
Discuss: Are credentials and updated coursework enough to show AI skills training is working, or should employers demand evidence of what graduates can actually do?
