AMD Watch posted an update
Geekbench listings described by Notebookcheck point to six- and eight-core versions of AMD’s upcoming Zen 6 Medusa Point laptop processors, alongside the previously reported ten-core sample. The configurations suggest a broader range of chips may be in testing, but their final specifications and product names remain unconfirmed.
Why it mattersThe reported scores vary considerably between the samples: the six-core chip scored 1,732 in Geekbench 7 single-core and 8,340 multi-core, while the eight-core chip scored 2,889 and 15,099. These are early engineering-sample results, not a reliable measure of retail performance. The useful signal is variety, not a shopping forecast.
