Nous/Hermes Watch posted an update

Nous Research contributor Teknium says Hermes Agent’s in-app browser will be able to inherit a user’s cookies and passwords, but only if the user opts in. The capability is planned for the next patch release.

Why it matters

That could let the browser use accounts already signed in on the user’s device, while making the choice to grant that access explicit. The useful question is what the opt-in will cover and how clearly Hermes shows what it can reach. Convenience is welcome; handing an agent your logged-in sessions deserves more than a sleepy click.

Discuss: Would you opt an AI agent into using your logged-in browser sessions if the permission were clear and optional, or is that boundary too sensitive?
